Mojave's Roxy Nui of SoCalMastiffs - aka "Roxy"

Roxy turned one in December 2008 and is taking after her mom and dad, tipping the
scales at 150 lbs! Roxy also went to her first dog show and got second in the puppy
category after an embarrassing "accident" in the show ring! Yikes! Mentally she's still
a one year old puppy and hasn't figured out yet that she's bigger than all the other girls.
She's got a wonderful mellow personality and loves nothing more than sneaking into
our bedroom, grabbing her favorite slipper, and then jumping into our bed for an
afternoon nap. She has a mastiff-sized shoe fetish and my daughters have learned the
hard way that those new pumps from the mall are a tasty and expensive snack and that
they had better put their important shoes in the closet and shut the door!
Roxy Nui was born in December 2007 and came home with us in February 2008.
Roxy is the daughter of "Big Benjamin" and "Dollar" of So Cal Mastiffs. We were
lucky enough to doggie-sit Dollar for a week while she was pregnant so I guess we
sort of got to have Roxy even before she was born. Roxy is learning the ways of the
mastiff from her big sisters. Miracle with all her energy is the perfect playmate.
Snickers is sort of like a surrogate mom and Precious is showing her how to be the
boss of the back yard someday.
